Welcome, my name is Spencer Schill and I’m a Web Developer/Designer with an interest in User-Centered Design and Development.  I earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in December of 2010.  While at UWSP my studies included Web and Digital Media Development, Business Administration, and the German language.  My educational experiences also included various real-world applications with classroom projects focusing on real client work.  Through all four and half years I also held a part-time job at a local bank as a Teller and IT Intern.  These experiences have helped developed a unique self, merging both creativity and professionalism.

My programming skills include: XHTML, CSS, PHP, Javascipt, Java, Actionscript 3.0, Python, mySQL, and SQL.  These may be the only one’s I’ve worked with on more than a casual basis, but that doesn’t mean I can’t learn or pickup yet another within due time.

My CMS experiences include: Joomla! and WordPress.  I’ve done manual installation of both and done extensive reorganization and permissions work within Joomla!, however at this point my Template work is limited with both.  I’m currently in the process of creating a redesign of this site, my first WordPress Theme.

Relevance/Location? The purpose of this site is to provide a primary launching ground for me!  My goal is to include Web Development related articles on this blog-esq site as well as display my various works and accomplishments, with an added surprise now and then.
